A week of celebration with the kids. Started out trying to log but kinda lost track for the weekend. I did go back & fill in for yesterday, but I'm not even going to attempt Saturday & Sunday. Saturday was hanging with the family, adult beverages, snacks, grilled burgers, hot dogs for dinner...cookie baking too 😁 Sunday was our family Christmas party....Holiday themed cocktails & appetizers....LOTS of appetizers. I will say I didn't eat the full plate I dished up....I just couldn't. But dinner back at home consisted of leftovers we brought home. Yesterday was a lighter day, putting me back on track. I didn't have lunch & dinner was assorted soups (we had chicken tortilla) with ham & cheese on the panini grill.
Dessert was Hot Chocolate Bombs while we watched a movie.

The kids headed back to Dallas today....left around 1PM for the airport. Although I'm sad to see them go....the week has been crazy busy. It's kinda nice to have our quiet house back 😏 We're not used to constant commotion!


Breakfast started out back to our normal routine but lunch ended up being leftovers again....Buffalo chicken dip, potato salad, a deviled egg & crackers for dipping. Back to measuring & logging even if I may still have a bit more to eat than normal.

I sat down late afternoon with the last of the Egg Nog & an hour of TV. Raining today, so no walk.

Dinner is going to be chicken thighs & green beans.
65.8 kg Lost so far: 12.6 kg.    Still to go: 4.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
