Wow I logged in here thinking it had been a year since I last recorded anything but it’s only been 2 months. Wow what is time even?

I’m back because I fell into really bad habits and eating all the delicious junk food and not really noticing a weigh change bc I was in yoga pants all day. A couple days ago I was going out and leggings were not gonna cut it so I put on my jeans that used to be big on me and they barely zippered up. I was so stuffed into these pants that I could barely breathe. After a few days of denial, I finally got my head on straight and made a DECISION to get healthy. It’s all up to me. I can’t blame it on the pandemic, or depression , or stress. It’s alllll me-mindlessly shoving junk down my throat to avoid everything really. But one day you wake up and realize the outside world, with all of its birthday parties and holidays dates and weddings don’t change. The only thing that has to change is me. This all just a bit of stream of consciousness that could have been summed up in far less words. But a year from when I go back to read it, I’ll be appreciative for where I was and where I am.

Needed this inspiration today. Last night was spent lying in bed at midnight- awake because of a bad case of poison ivy- and literally sobbing as I realized who I have left myself become by always saying "I'll start tomorrow morning. Is that ice cream? on Monday, then. 5 chocolate chip cookies later- Yup, why not the first of next month?" and I set a goal. and then keep shoving it back. and then realize that if I would have stuck to said goal I would be at my goal weight by now. I will do this. I will not be swayed. I am resolved this time for GOOD. What makes it different? A band of supporters-my rescuers- here at FS. Pray for me, peeps. Talk to me. Help me out!!! Stay strong, y'all!!!! ❤️

We all have had our “suck it in zipper” moments to get us back on track. Welcome back and it is a reminder to me to wear tighter pants around the house to not forget how important this journey is. Back at it. You’ve go this.
