Weight same as yesterday. I've gone over my calorie allowance the past 2 days...140 Friday & 104 yesterday. I am down 1 lb. from the beginning of the month. I've fluctuated up & down all month but stayed in a pretty good range. I need to be careful for the next few weeks so I go into the holiday season on the lower end of my range.

I've been feeling a bit blah the last couple of weeks. Not exactly depressed, but unmotivated. It has been raining for a few days, but today is sunny with temps in the mid 60's. The weather is supposed to be nice for a few days. The forcast is calling for temps in the 30's by the end of the week. That means I'll have to move the plants I want to "save" indoors. I need to be judicious in my choices. I have in the past put a bunch in our separate office/guest cottage. We are planning to have my granddaughter, her boyfriend & the baby sleep there when they visit over the Christmas holidays. I need to keep it uncluttered out there. So, I'll have to put any overwintered plants in the sunroom. I usually have several houseplants in front of the dining room window that get moved for the tree @ Christmas. I don't need plants up to my ears in December 😏

I want to get the box...boxes??...of Fall Decor out of the attic today. I'm way behind. I still have a month to enjoy it if I get it done in the next couple of days. I don't decorate for Christmas til December. Hubby is a big stickler on that.

My granddaughter & her boyfriend moved into their own apartment a few days ago. They are determined to "parent" their baby together & decided this is the best way to do it. They are young but say they love each other so as a family we're being supportive. They are working hard to be independent. She is not due til November 24th but we're thinking she may arrive a bit sooner.

I haven't been exercising much except for walking. Since it rained all day the past couple of days I haven't even done that. Today I will get back out!

The pressure washing of the deck got delayed cause of the rain. Hopefully Hubby will finish that this week. Then we can put all of the deck furniture back in place.

Enough procrastinating....into the attic I go....

I have so many plants! Dare I say, too many? And then when my brother, Ryan, died, I got more. 😬 It is definitely time to rearrange. My sunporch is not warm enough to enjoy from November- probably April/May and so I bring them in and have to fit them all around. Between finding a spot indoors and then rearranging again for Christmas decor- It's a lot. I mix in little fake poinsettias and holiday plant sticks so they fit the Christmas theme more- but there are a lot.

personally, I thrive on daylight. so when we get to this time of year - well, there's a lot less of it. I noticed that this morning when I watched the sunrise - after getting up at close to the last minute. going to be worse with the time change. I think recognizing that you're feeling lower is good, it lets you take necessary steps to stay healthier, so it's good to have a list of projects to keep you going. you've got this. and congrats on the grandbaby. those are the best moments to look forward to.

Kat, I often get a little blue after the Christmas holidays. This feels a little like that. You're right about the season changes & less daylight. I do know if I have projects/ events to look forward to that boosts my mood. Need to make some plans!

You’re not alone. I really have to fight it this time of year. It will be interesting to see how buying a lot of gifts early plays into it as well. I didn’t want to be stuck without what I wanted to get people, so I’ve been busy.
