It is a blessing when I can eat what I have come to love.....peanut butter and banana with flax as a lunch or in oatmeal as a breakfast.
Apple crumble made with little sugar and butter also doubles as such.
Who said dieting had to taste bad?
Still enjoy my mackerel in vinegar , my bean salad and pickled beets or a salad.
Occasionally a sandwich, and an apple with cinnamon for dessert.
I have a moderate plate of whatever is going for dinner and even a snack at night.
The snack is usually cottage cheese with a few berries, or my homemade Chex cereal like mixture to nibble on. Plain air popped popcorn is also satisfying.
Alcohol is my downfall on weekends and so I have switch to vodka. A diet juice for a mix is almost as good as the clamato which contains too much salt.
It's all about better choices after all!
