I really think so! It's the one thing I hadn't done last time I lost weight, and it's made things so much easier. So glad to know my metabolism isn't doomed as long as I keep it up! 😅

Just be aware that at some point, the weightlifting will start to add weight as you add muscle. So don't be so fixated on the scale and what it says. The pictures are going to be more representative of progress.

That's partly why I chose the goal I did, it's in the middle of a healthy BMI range for my height. That way I'd be safe losing more fat while adding muscle to maintain a similar weight.
