I've been out of sync for the last week or so. Last Friday it felt like I was coming into a cold -- just feeling really worn and slow to process mentally. Spent most of the weekend sleeping or zoned out on the couch. Felt loads better by Monday, but the weather has been uncooperative for my normal 2 hour walks around the neighborhood.

My husband took the time during 2020 to build out a virtual reality (VR) console, and I picked up a few games that are designed to make you move. I'm definitely panting, sweaty and occasionally sore afterwards (they have you punching/slashing/squatting/dodging) -- but this doesn't seem to be burning calories the way walking/DDR tends to.

In addition to everything above, I've been at this long enough to believe I'm entering a plateau, as I've been yoyo-ing between a 3lb span for a minute now.

I'm hoping to recalibrate myself this weekend/coming week. We're meeting friends at a lakeside cabin in Ithica NY for a few days of hiking/kayaking/life without phones or internet.
