So, I definitely fell far off the wagon! it's been over 10 years since I have last used this platform. A lot of life happened in that time.

I got married, had a kid, and now that he is 6 and more independent, I decided to make my health a priority.

for a long time I was mad that I got right back to where I started when I was in my early 20's. I spent some of the last 10 years beating myself up and just continuing to eat away my feelings.

But this time feels different. I am in a different space mentally, and emotionally. I spent the last 4 years really Taking care of all of my bodies, not just the physical. I had so much emotions tied to childhood programming. I released so many emotions and grew to understand my emotions and WHY I eat them. With this knowledge I am now better able to take care of myself.

When I feel self sabotaging behaviors rise I spend some time in contemplative meditation and journaling.

The mental body is a tough one to overcome, and I ignored it for so long.

I restarted my journey June 27th 2021 and in less than 2 months I am already down 20lbs. The physical body is amazing because mine remembers. It remembers the muscle I used to have, it remembers the stamina. Within my second week I was already feeling stronger, more confident, and energy has massively increased.

I am currently following a carb cycling meal plan, and exercise program by Vshred. I just added CardiOFIIT from the HIIT Company. I am so happy that I found my way back to FatSecret because it was such a beacon of hope for me so many years ago!
