Maintaining!!!

Busy weekend ahead...my dad has truck training this weekend from 8-5 both days so I get to do the chores morning and night which is no biggie. We have a little girl's birthday party to go to at noon on Saturday which will be fun for my son! And then the usual stuff, cleaning, get groceries plus the extra chores that we do on Saturdays.

The weather is good today, just cold but no wind, so I should get out for a run today. It was soooo cold yesterday and very windy so we didn't run. Instead we did a Jillian video. But then my son said that I had to go on the treadmill last night, so I did that for 20 minutes. So I'm feeling good today and a bit sore too.

Sounds like a busy Saturday! I hope you get your run in, it's been cold and windy here when I get off work, so no outside runs for me yet. I like that your son told you to go on the treadmill, that's a good motivator. :)

Not a bad motivator to have...most days and he's only 4! My little guy just wanted to go on the treadmill too. He told me to go on the treadmill first and then it was his turn. So for his turn, he did .25 mi in about 8 minutes (started at 1 mi/hr, then 2 mi/hr and then 3 mi/hr). He even said, 'look Mommy, I'm running like you'. Priceless!!! Got out and did my run. Had to push through to get it done but I did it!!!
