Maybe the Walmart trip 😂😂 

No reason to fret at all! ❤️ Not the least concerned about you! And so as to not hijack Erquiaga's blue zone post, I'll answer you here. Hope you don't mind! 😁 We will be staying with friends east of Frankfurt. Not too far from Heidelberg. This will be trip number 4 for me and five for my hubby. We have hosted visitors I think ten times over the years from there. Many have been young and stayed about three months. Our kids have gone back and forth tons. It will be our our oldest son's first trip and we will be gone a month. I am so excited and am longing for a break from real life and to see all the beautiful people we have lived over the years.  

I am happy for you that you have a plan in place for next year. I know you had to cancel your cruise. 😢 We didn't know if we would be able to go. I mean... I guess anything could happen. We are in the process of trying to get our sons passport renewed... A many months long worry. We will be down to the wired with a hoped for appointment three days before departure... If we can get it. I am trying not to worry as we wait. We hope to do some bouncing around to different places while we are there. Certainly should get into France and likely Switzerland, but we hoped for a trip to Spain. We have never been there before. we will have the use of a car, so even if we just wander around Germany we will be happy! 😁 .  

Melissa, yes I was concerned about posting directly to you on Erqs page. I'm glad you answered me here. I love Heidelberg! Such history! We will be staying with my step sister in Leingarten, which isn't to far from Heilbronn. We plan on being in Europe for about 4-6 weeks. Still figuring it out. I hope all works out and you guys get to go. Europe is a beautiful place! If you go to Barcelona please let me know as we too have never been to Spain. I wish you a blessed and fantastic trip! 💜💜💜💜

To answer you're question about what's going on with your weight though... how's your weekly average trend looking?  

Hahah! Erq! The passport story is long and annoying. Kids passport expired months ago. We tried and tried to get an appointment (required for renewal when previously a minor). Only five offices in the western state giving appointments... Never ever could we get one. We decided when the they started opening up at city halls etc we would just pay to get it quick... We still had a couple months. Nope, even expedited are taking 12 weeks and nothing is available except some last minute appointments at the passport office in Seattle where they issue them. But! One can not even attempt to get an appointment until two weeks before departure and that appointment is scheduled three days before departure... If you can gt an appointment. It is maddening and sad. We have done everything we can but wait. Now we just hope we can get an appointment on the day it becomes available for him and then hope at the appointment they are willing to issue him a passport. I know they can do it in about three hours. Happened once for me when the whole fam was headed to Canada for a reunion and I realized my passport had expired. They all left without me and I jaded to Seattle. I caught up by bus a day later. It was great, but this is the day of lots of people being caught in this mess. We are just hoping Nad praying and trying not to worry. Hubby and I will go without the lad if there is no other option, but it will break his heart. He worked so hard for this and couldn't go last summer.  

I'm just so tired... So much strain and stress for so long with my family and work and... Life. I just hope it will all work out to go. I just want to relax. No matter what I'll be worried about the kids at home, but things are sort of calm at the moment... At least staying th same rather than crisis after crisis, so I want to flee! 😁  

Melissa, sorry you are having so much trouble with Passport etc. My husband applied in 2019 for our trip to Playa del Carmen. It took 9 months for him to get it because his dad had changed the spelling of their last name.(long story..lets just say that Joe is Italian and grew up in New Jersey..).he didn't do the right papwork and it was a mess! Hope you guys are able to get it done for your son!💜💜💜
