When I hit 142 point....a few days ago I checked my weight logs to see if I was at a new low. No....I was actually there back in February but had been hovering around 144 to 145 the last few months. My low was actually just over 140. Just food for thought.

My upper calorie goal's 1900 but I've been averaging between 1700 & 1800 the past few weeks. Eating what I want but monitoring...seems to be working.

I made pasta salad yesterday. I decided to make what I thought was 4 servings & breaking it down by 4 to get my individual calories. Hubby walked in the kitchen & saw the bowl & asked jokingly if we were having company. In fact my "4 servings" looked like an awful lot! I adjusted the pasta slightly in my calorie log but left the rest of the ingredients. Needless to say I did not eat 1/4 of the bowl of pasta salad 😁

Although my eating has been satisfactory I haven't done my exercise routine for 3 days. 🙄 I walked yesterday but on Saturday I did an abbreviated walk. I walked up the drive to the mailbox with the dogs. The neighbors had been setting off fireworks & our schnauzer/bichon female was none too anxious to leave the safety of the house.

Hubby & I went out Friday night but we've stayed close to home the rest of the weekend. Hubby changed the gaskets on our shower on Saturday & that turned into an all afternoon job. In fact he didn't actually finish til yesterday. I puttered in the gardens & worked on the pillow covers for my outdoor pillows. The weather has been nice so I've spent a lot of time outside. I called my daughter in Dallas & we talked for almost 2 hours today.

Planning to have leftovers for dinner....chicken thighs & pasta salad 😁

Sitting here listenining to the birds & watching them take a dip in the birdbath. Hubby just cut the grass, so enjoying the scent of fresh cut grass, too. We have wrens in the birdhouse outside the kitchen window....definitely have some eggs. And Hubby saw the first fawn in the meadow yesterday morning. Love our wildlife ❤

Well...need a snack of some kind before we head out for our walk in a little while....

Jollyfox, I do have many blessings in my life 😊 We have trials & tribulations like everyone but I try to focus on the positive.
