Lisa Online's Journal, 21 Feb 11

That's me all over- some day's my mind is strewn all over. From one place to another with no focus of what to do or where to go next. No motivation to take action awaiting to be put back together to choose the direction that I shall go.

I will use my brain! TOWANDA!!!

Although I know it is me I would like to blame these dulldrums that I have been feeling on the full moon, the time of the year, the cold weather, my bills, tax season, finding care for Mary while her school is out this whole week, my husband not feeling well, etc., etc.

My energy level has been down and with low energy I find it hard to keep a positive mindset. The food I gravitate towards with low energy are not the best choices. I talked myself out of exercise for the most part and struggled to get moving and motivated to do anything productive which was doing the exact opposite of what would have brought me better energy. I remember talking myself into this past weekends vegetative state so without guilt or shame as I accept my actions and move forward:)

Each day we have choices to live our best life and on this Monday I am grateful for the opportunity to turn the page and continue onward. Today I am Pursuing a Happy Go Lucky sense of the world by accentuating the positive. Writing helps me sort my tangled thoughts and feelings as it puts things into proper perspective.

The bull crap I had has been grabbed and thrown out the window... Today is dads decision day to see what he really has but if I can say a few words is take your foot out of your mouth and step on the bull's horns and carry on with renewed focus to maintenance and beyond. There are many excuses and they are just that to not be happy... Taxes, responsibilities at home, family, work and the list goes on but one thing remains intact and thats the head on your shoulders. EXCUSES BEGONE and WEIGHT BEGONE!

Hi my buddy! It's all cyclical. I recently went through a week of feeling extremely blah and crabby and I have no idea why. Could be weather-related. But I tell myself when I'm down, this too shall pass. It's okay not to feel upbeat and full of energy every day. Our batteries are just recharging!

Lisa - I can tell you the week my dad was in the hospital that resulted in lousy eating, no vitamins, loss of sleep and on and on and it really had an affect on my overall "well being" so similar to what you describe. It is amazing how that can affect us. The crap in life is always going to be there, but being able to manage it well requires good nutrition, supplements, water and most important enough sleep. TOWANDA my friend.
