I didn't get a good night's sleep...woke up around 4:30 AM & tossed & turned for awhile. I was too hot, too cool, itchy, thirsty...I took an antihistamine cause a couple of insect bites sustained while gardening were itchy...plus I thought it would help me fall asleep again. When I finally got back into a deep sleep it seems like it was time to get up. Hubby was going out for lunch & I wanted to have coffee with him. My weight is up but I think some of that can be blamed on the poor sleep. I did go over my calories yesterday but just slightly.

When I told Hubby yesterday what we were having for dinner he said "I don't eat grits". I reassured him he'd like these 😊 I was determined to make them very creamy & flavorful, so I mixed milk & broth in with the water. And all kinds of yummy goodies in with the shrimp. He ate every bite & proclaimed it good.

Hubby brought me half of his lunch...half a buffalo chicken wrap & 4 onion rings. I told him dinner was supposed to be buffalo chicken on a salad...he said that was OK. I could eat buffalo chicken for all 3 meals...no problem.

I had been feeling lazy & not motivated to exercise. I was watching DVR'd episodes of Rebel when he got home. I ate my lunch & told myself if I was going to eat onion rings, I was going to exercise. So I came out to the deck...exercise/ yoga done ✔

The weather is gorgeous again today. High 70's, a light breeze & fluffy clouds. It really was perfect to feel the breeze as I stretched & moved on the deck 😁

We watched another music documentary on Amazon last night. This one was enjoyable again....It was about Austin City Limits. Hubby said if we had the money that would be our life...going to all the music concerts we wanted. I could live with that.

Time for our afternoon walk in about 30 minutes.
