Up slightly this AM. The good news is my measurements after 4 weeks of sporadic toning/ yoga are improved. 1/2" off my bust, 1" off my waist, tummy the same, 1/2" off my hips.

That was enough to motivate me to do my exercises today. It's very overcast with rain in the forecast for today & tomorrow. It's much cooler outside on the deck.

Hubby & I enjoyed the birds over coffee & breakfast this morning. We had the usual suspects...the Titmice, Nuthatches & our male Cardinal. There were also a bunch of Blue Jays for the peanuts. The female Cardinal joined her mate and what we think may be a young male Cardinal. The yellow finches were there...& the wrens are checking out the birdhouse again. We may have babies, yet 😊 Oh, and we're seeing more hummingbirds.

I sliced a tenderloin into porkchops and added a rub of chopped fresh rosemary & oregano (from my garden), garlic, worcestershire, kosher salt, black pepper, balsamic & Sriracha. I'll let them sit all day & cook tonight.

I was thinking how much I'm enjoying grabbing outfits out my closet these days & not worrying if they'll be too tight or uncomfortable. I remember before settling on something to wear cause it fit but not being happy. That is definitely motivating me to keep doing the right things.

A few nights ago Hubby poured me a glass of wine....& it was more than my standard pour. I said something & he was a little annoyed...said I was being obsessive. I told him being a bit "obsessive" was what was preventing me from gaining back the weight I'd lost. I also reminded him it was also what was helping him stay at his healthier weight. And you all know, I definitely eat ALL THE STUFF....just in moderation. And I'm not always good...I just have to balance that with times I am.

I'm really happy to hear you're seeing the inches go in the right direction. My husband also gets snippy with me sometimes about weighing food but he's accepted that it's part of my life right now. I think he's upset because he likes me fatter lol.

Dieting is usually annoying/boring to others who are not also serious about their own WOE. Way to go in deflecting that sabotage attempt! Also, nice work on the toning exercises and whittling off the inches
