Sitting outside on the deck sipping my 2nd coffee. It's breezy and quite nice. No rain expected today but slightly cooler.

The birds entertained us during breakfast again this morning. The Cardinal has been returning constantly, I'm happy to say. The Jays had been around looking for peanuts before I got up. (So Hubby says). Of course when I put some out, the squirrels quickly gobbled them up....and Mr. Jay shows up! I put a few more out that the Cardinal & a Titmouse promptly carried off. But, the Jay came back & he got one, too 😃 I need to clean & refill the hummingbird feeders, today. They have made the one on the covered deck their favorite & it's empty. Of course, it's the one least visible from inside...but they often come for a sip when I'm sitting here underneath it.

After lunch with my sister on Friday, I took advantage of being close to the stores & tried on more 2 PC. swimsuits 👙I may have burned a few calories in my search, but once again walked away empty-handed. At first I thought all the fitting rooms were still closed, so I hung my choices back on the rack. Then I realized there was 1 Fitting Room open so I went to retrieve them. I thought I found one that fit but on 2nd thought....not really. If it fits it should not create pockets of fat under my arms....an area I wasn't even aware I should have fat 😳 I have lots of tankinis that fit just fine, so if I don't find a 2 pc. style I find flattering, I'll skip it this year. The bottoms need to be high enough to cover the unattractive bits but not quite to the belly button. The top needs to be supportive but not squeeze too much or show off parts of the boob I don't want exposed 😊 The struggle is real. I ended up buying a long, flowy kimono....one size fits all 😁

Meanwhile my toning exercises don't appear to be making much difference in the inches. I think my flexibility & balance might be improving slightly, so there's that.

I feel just fine fully clothed....I can always choose garments that are flattering and don't reveal the imperfections.

My potted tomato plants have baby tomatoes 🍅😋 on them! Can't wait!!!

Coffee's gone & I have stuff to do....Including my exercises.

I'm thinking dinner will be meatballs (ground beef), brown rice & asparagus.

I think you are being too critical at your weight you could carry off whatever you want but good luck with your decision

Swimsuit shopping is horrible and stressful. The only way I've found to keep from squishing out everywhere is to do more cardio to burn off the fat. Then just get string tops to prevent spillage, and boyshort-style for bottom half. For tops you can look for athletic bra styles, too, as they are cut higher on the underarm area. Don't forget to check out the back for the dreaded backfat around the shoulder blades. Keep shopping -- you'll find something soon!

All my bikini tops sink into the soft spots under my arms a bit - it's that or they're too loose and they fall off entirely. =) Doesn't bother me much - I know I'm healthy and I like the way those bikinis look otherwise, and I'm not wearing them for anyone but me anyhow. Try not to let the little things stop ya from enjoying them if you like the rest of them!

I hope you find a style that you like. Regarding the toning: my experience is that the weight/rep combination has to be sufficiently challenging to build the muscle.

I never saw any progress with the 0.5-2kg (1.1-4.4lbs) marketed to women. I suppose I could have used them for hours a day and got the volume right that way, but who has time for that?

She_loves is right. Wear it for you and don't sweat the little things. Bare skin in the sun and the water is amazing. FWIW, I alter tops all the time with one or two straight stitches for a snug custom fit. They're either too small or too big and big is easier to fit to size. You can also crop a tankini top with a bit of elastic at the bottom. Unless you're living that wild life and don't care about the underboob showing. I'm so glad I never wasted time worrying about finding the perfect suit, it doesn't exist unless you have a personal seamstress. which is me at this point, I guess. find one and just wear it. 🤣

Thanks for the input ladies 😀 At my age, I know that no swimsuit will be perfect. I take that back....I've seen some pretty amazing women in swimsuits at my age. I should say at the point my body is....slimmer but less tight & toned...& with a little tummy still....than when I was younger. I have always been busty. Losing weight has made me smaller but I still have a generous top, almost no waist (I'm kinda straight thru that area) and slim hipped. I have an idea what would be the most flattering...just gotta find it. And I am buying this for myself...No one else cares what I wear to the beach 😊
