Yesterday I was commenting I needed to figure out how I can lose 5 lbs. before vacation. This morning I was down a little again & I had an aha moment 😄 Oh yes....that's what to do....eat fewer calories. I did eat under my 1900 a day allowance for a couple of days. I didn't necessarily eat less...I just ate foods lower in calories. Overall anyway, cause I did have a slice of carrot cake for dessert last night. For awhile I was consistently under my goal weight a little. I was averaging fewer calories. So I can maintain @ goal eating 1900 calories but if I want to weigh less, gotta cut back.

It's been switching from rain showers to sunshine most of the day. I was out on the deck doing my exercise routine & had to rush indoors. It started raining hard & blowing. I had my phone & nowhere to put it to keep it dry...so had to come in. I finished my last couple of routines in the kitchen.

We've had a lot of bird activity, lately. The wrens were hanging around...may be planning a 2nd family in the birdhouse outside our window. I saw a cardinal out back this afternoon. I hope he decides he likes our feeder. The Titmice grabbed a few peanuts as well as eating at the feeder this morning. And yesterday I saw a yellow finch on the feeder.

I'm planning to slice the rest of the pork tenderloin up for dinner.

I think we're going to call our neices in Canada later to catch up. We were trying to plan a call with one of them & she said they were having a girl's night...so call there.
