coming to Jesus moment. had to tell doc my weight at my preop knee replacement visit. they didn't say anything to me but i saw in my summary notes that my bmi was recorded as 37!!! that's it!!!! i started today every morsel that went in my mouth is being has been recorded. i went to the gym and did 2.5 hours including 30 min on elliptical weight machine floor exercises. i'm wiped. devoured a high fiber turkey wrap at 4:30 pm for lunch. dinner will be my usual protein cake with fresh fruit and two glasses of almond milk. AND NOTHING ELSE NO MATTER HOW HUNGRY I GET except some sugar free gum.....with water. did the body weight planner at the national institutes of health. helps you estimate based on your activity level when you can expect to reach your goal weight. i set an interium goal of 200 lbs and gave myself 180 days to lose it. it says i can have 1700 calories a day but i'm shooting for 1500ish since i'm going to have surgery i won't be as active for a while. i did lose about 10 lbs after my first knee replacement. i got down to 206. sure wish i was there now!!! oh well, time will pass and i might as well be losing weight!!! my new motto!!!!
