MadMaddy21's Journal, 07 May 21

Once again another weight gain, but this week I managed to increase my exercise thanks to the nice weather. I went to see my RD yesterday and she was happy with my progress. Overall with yesterday's weigh-in since December 10th, I have lost 24lbs. For my personal weight goal I have 23lbs to lose yet. She wants me to continue tracking my food, ease up on my self-critcism from the Prednisone, and monitor my sodium intake because of my fluid issues at times. I see her associate next month and her again in August.

I am officially finished with my sophomore year in college. Thank goodness. I am talking to somebody right now and it's nice because we can talk about anything. One of the commonalities is that we are both working on losing weight, but in our own way. We can compare and contrast what we do, but in a friendly way. Who knows what the future, maybe we'll at least have each other as support networks and that is enough for me.

All the best on your health journey and for continuing your education ! Being a sophomore is big; most of the world does not make it to even that level of study. And it is so healthy to be able to share your journey with a like-minded soul. You are blessed. Happy Friday!
