I definitely don't want to go into the land of denial. Today is February 1st and I am up 3 pounds for the year 2011. To be quite honest I didn't want to record my weight today.

I haven't gone to the gym since Friday, nor have I tracked my food well. I am feeling uncomfortable that my routine is off. Tracking my food and water also has been off the past few days so I know exactly what is going on. Last night I had 2 full bowls of sugary cereal for dinner and almost a box of reduced fat Vanilla wafers for a snack! The night before I made chocolate covered strawberries for a friend and ended up drinking the melted chocolate with a straw just about so I wasn't tracking my calorie intake. I'm Slipping, Visiting old habits, Losing control.

Mary will stay home another day as she is still feeling under the weather with aches, weakness and the boo hoo flu. I am thankful we both received a good night sleep last night and know this too shall pass.

I can look at January as a wasted month or I can look at it as a pause. The good news is that I know how to lose weight so I just need to do it. (I am really good at gaining weight lol)

I apologize to my blue team members of the 2012 begone challenge as I didn't contribute any donated weight. I honestly don't want to put the weight back on and will do better in February. TOWANDA!!!!!!

Don't get discouraged. Pause that is a good word..you were on pause and now you are on fast forward and you will get moving again. Start looking for some new and differen food choices. Something tasty that is still healthy. I find shaking up my food does me a world of good. We get stuck on eating the same old thing and forget there are tons of different things. Also maybe try shaking up your exercise...anything new that you can do and see if it works..New is always better than the same old...for our minds and for our bodies...Hope this helps! Oh and don't worry about the challenge.

Don't feel bad Lisa... I totally let my teammates down in the 2012 challenge too...rather than going down I went up :( bu rather than dwelling on the crap I should have done.. or could have done and focus on what I am doing and what I will be doing. This month will be better. Hope Mary starts feeling better soon!

Lisa, you have changed for in so many ways. You are right...this was a pause. You will get back on track. I remember reading in one of your journals on how you are on a liveit and not a dieit. You are a wonderful inspiration to me. I love coming to your journal. These three pounds just say you are human. Love and Hugs{{{}}}

Lisa...really like the work "Pause", nothing is ever a waste when it helps us recognize and re-focus. You absolutely know how to lose weight. Today is a new day and a great day to make some positive changes.

Lisa - You fought the entire month of January to get under and stay under the 150 mark. It's hard to tell from your journals if you are eating moderately lowfat, or what exactly constitutes Lisa's Own Diet...but sometimes you can flip the 'sugar' switch metabolically and it produces extreme cravings. It almost propells you towards consuming food even when you wouldn't normally want to. Perhaps a couple days of clearing out your system...a little extra broth soups, water, etc... and lots of fruits and veggies...and hopefully that will help to bring some balance back to your system. Go back thru some of your older journals...heck, they are some of the most inspiring in all of FatSecret...and remotivate yourself - FOR YOU!!! Much Love. Paula

My daughter got sick last month and it turned out to be mono - hope your daughter gets better soon! Hang in there - I like the Pause idea!

Thanks everyone for your kind words and encourgement! Today was stressful but most days are aren't they:)? The sun came out and I have done very well in keeping a grip on this day by keeping control of things that I have control over! Mary seems to be feeling better and should go back to school tomorrow so my routine can go back to normal. TOWANDA!!!!

Lisa I think we were following each other with our heads cut off like chickens. January was a wash for me too but good progress in healing from flu. I am with Paula our bodies can get out of balance so easily that when they do go off balance the cravings start etc. Lisa get with it buddy you can get back on the horse... It happens to me too but every time it does and its rarity I renew my goals and convictions to do better. The only real time this happens to me is when I go out to dinner or have a family gathering. To say no to the food is like OMG but I try and eat less of it since I know my body does not process it well. I am with you all the way you can do this buddy! Good to know you slept well Lisa! I ditto the gaining weight part... bunch of gluttons really LMAO anyways Lisa your still eating better than most people out there. The blue team needs to pick it up including myself. Keep up the great work!
