Wednesday :)

Thunder snow!! My husband had a heck of a time getting home from work. We knew a storm was approaching so I dropped him at the metro in the morning so he could take a bus home from work. He left work early but so did lots of others and the metro train was packed... he had to wait for 6 trains before he could squeeze on. When he got to our home metro station he got on a bus... the bus went 2 blocks and was hit by a car. By this time the thunder snow was in full force. He decided instead of waiting for the police and yada yada yada he would get off the bus and hail a cab. He got in a cab and went 1 block to pay $16 bucks... cab wasn't going any where so he decided to trudge through the snow by foot. He walked 4 miles passing car after car of stuck traffic and gridlock to safely make it home. I had a hot dinner waiting for him and as soon as he finished eating the power went out! LOL

We spent the evening camping out in the living room with the gas fireplace and camp stove making smores and playing poker! What a fantastic family time we had :)
