MadMaddy21's Journal, 18 Mar 21

So dropped another official 9 pounds since last week which is great. However, this happened not just because of my eating habits, but I ended up having to be drained again yesterday because the doctor changed my dosage of medicine last week and 6 pounds came on in 2 days. When I went to the hospital yesterday, they ended up removing 13 pounds of fluid overall. It's really mind blowing that's even possible. I think when I get to personal goal weight I am going to take comparison pictures, even though that is not something I typically do.

On the brightside as of today, I am 3/4 of the way finished with my sophomore year in college and even with the medical problems that have been going on since last spring, I am still pushing on. This weekend, I also finally get to go visit my 92 year old grandmother again since summer. I am not super close with her, but I do miss her immensely and will take even the 15 minutes I get with her.

13 pounds although you are on medication !? Do the doctors know the cause of these fluids ? Since your body still fills with fluids there is no way for body measurements or scale meas.to be accurate. Something like flying an airplane in the clouds. Not possible by sight. Pilot should trust the organs and do a blind flight. You must trust your good eating behaviour for your weight loss and do not expect the scale or the body to reflect it. At least not until the next fluid removing.

They do, but it now be something that I continue to deal with now. This weight was after having almost all fluid removed.
