Herbie's Journal, 20 May 07

I'm back on track after a few days of small lapses. I had two big work deadlines on Friday and I didn't get enough sleep or exercise leading up to that, nor did I follow the diet completely (had pizza for dinner 2 nights in a row). I was at a stable weight for a few days. I'm back on track now, exercising more, strict on diet (still in phase 1, week 3) and am down a couple more pounds.

I find that sometimes I just get really tired, kind of like I just crash and can't stay awake/energetic. This happens in the evening, especially if I've exercised in the afternoon. Anyone else experience this?

I just read an article about circadian rhythms and it talked about just that. It talked about your body's natural rises and falls energy-wise, regardless of what you eat. It did give a few 10-minute mini workouts to help stabilize those "dips". Go to womenshealthmag.com and see if you can look in May's issue for circadian rhythms. Maybe it can help you.
