Puttered around the kitchen this morning....arranging a couple of decorative things I bought over the weekend. Took down the holiday wreaths on the kitchen window & the door to the sunroom. Then I packed up 3 boxes of Christmas decor. The sun was out for awhile after some overnight rain. I do feel more motivated when the sun is shining. Hubby had taken our Yorkie for his annual checkup at the vet. I enjoy puttering more when he's not underfoot.

It's raining again...so no afternoon walk. I'm not even mad about that 😐

I put corned beef, cabbage, onions, baby potatoes & carrots in the crock pot to cook this morning. Looking forward to dinner!

We decided to get a Hello Fresh delivery next week, so for 3 meals someone else is planning & providing the ingredients. All I have to do is follow the recipe & cook it.

I was thinking earlier about how a week ago I was beating myself up a bit cause I chose to have 3 sweet treats that day. A (One) rice krispie treat, some chocolate and a slice of carrot cake. The next day my weight hadn't even fluctuated a pound. Sometimes after weeks & months of trying to "Be good", it's hard to see that it's perfectly acceptable to treat ourselves. Maybe not every day or in huge portions....but it's fine in moderation.

I've also been thinking I need to pay more attention to my water intake. I like plain old tap water...we are on a well & ours tastes good, but I forget to drink it when I get busy doing things. So, that's a goal I'm going to work on.

Took down all the Christmas stuff awhile ago- and then I'm cleaning the bathroom this morning and there's a big Merry Christmas shower curtain still up. :)

We have well water and there was nothing like it- so good!!! They started adding in city water and it has never been the same.😩
