HAPPY MONDAY....I decided months ago that I was going to think positive thoughts about Mondays. I used to have unfavorable feelings about Monday's because it's the start of the long work week and it always felt like drudgery getting into the routine of the week. I decided this thought pattern wasn't doing me any good. Why not just be happy instead of waiting until Friday lol. I do have to work for a living and I accept this. I am free to choose how I feel about the work and this is powerful. I appreciate my employment even though some days are very challenging with the tasks and situations that present themselves. I am learning from these work situations, I am earning income to sustain my families lifestyle and the structure it brings into my life is stability that I need. The same goes for keeping my structured daily food, exercise and emotional journals...I used to have unfavorable feelings about doing these but have found out over time with practice they get easier to keep and I enjoy the stability they provide in keeping my goal of taking care of me in view. I concentrate on the pleasure of being my right weight. I appreciate my body and take good care of it.

You are right. We have to work for a living so we might as well enjoy it. Other than the actually waking up in the morning because I never get enough sleep I am very blessed to have a job that I just love. It is a joy to be here. Hope your Marvelous Monday is Magical just like in Disney!!!

I too once upon a time hated keeping journals and pages of words that really meant nothing until one day I sat down and went through them... Boy was it like a slap in the face HAHAHA I learn so much from my journaling and other peoples journaling to help them out too! I love my work but often times I drag myself down because of the work load but I learned last year that being grateful I was extremely busy was good for my mind, body and spirit as it could be very worse. My work day now is filled with joy and happiness and its no longer about making an earning to support myself but its a living to make customers happy too! Remember its not just your job your focusing on but its the energy your putting out there too! Have a great day!

Love you Lisa! I watched the video, again, I liked it very much. I particularly liked: "Don't elevate other peoples opinion above your own." Very true, do this and you will find yourself leading someone else's life. :-) Thanks buddy, have a great day.

Hi Lisa! Your message today relates somewhat to my problem of comparing myself to others I think are better. I know it's a bad habit and can make one miserable. Better to just be grateful for what I have and do my best.

So true, so true. I'd bet at the end of our lives we look back at all the time wasted, wishing we could just get it back. I love the appreciating where we are NOW instead of the always looking forward to the elusive. Nice entry, Lisa!

Lisa, that's why I'm happy NOW not when I lose weight or when I get healthier. We'are happy NOW with ourselves for the fact that we DESIRE for better. We're going that direction no matter how long it takes. We enjoy the journey. I always appreciate your presence... Happy Tuesday to you:)
