You have to weigh in the same time every day under the same conditions, wearing the same things (or nothing), preferably first thing in the morning before eating or drinking anything Otherwise the weight gain or loss is almost meaningless, it all depends how much food and fluid you have on board - as alluded to in a previous post. I know I can gain up to 1.5 kg from the start to end of the day, there’s no way of knowing what is actual fat deposition, though according to biochemistry’s perspective it would be almost impossible to lay down more than 300g in a day. So it’s all a bit wobbly. Can’t take weight gains seriously unless they trend upwards over several days. Go for a long walk. It will disappear, one way or the other

Oh I normally do weigh in under the same conditions but today the time got away on me so I almost skipped it, believing my weight would go up. Was chuffed that it held steady.
