Got told today by my PT that I need more calories to live than what I’m eating. Is it bad that I feel what I’m currently doing is what I need?
64.1 kg Lost so far: 64.7 kg.    Still to go: 0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I've always heard as a rule of thumb never eat less than 1200 calories. If you calc your BMR (Google it) it will tell you how many calories it takes just to keep your body functioning. Mine is currently 1417 cals. If you don't eat enough your metabolism will slow down and it will be more difficult to lose. When you do lose you'll likely lose more muscle. If you're having a hard time eating enough add a protein drink or powder your food. Seeds are also a great way to get some extra nutritious calories.

Good advice, bearnoggin. I totally agree. I need more protein than I get from meats so I drink protein drink in am and eat protein bars(good ones) in afternoon to put my protein grams around 100 grams a day.

Greek yogurt and hemp hearts are good too! I also love to make smoothies with them!
