I was so certain that I would weigh in this morning with a modest loss or a hold my own moment. This week I have eaten on average 200 calories less than last week and I actually gained 0.6 pounds when last week I gained 0.4 pounds!!! How can that be??

Well, I know why, of course. In the past 3 weeks I ate more and logged in 0.4 pound gain each of those weeks. This week I returned to 'normal' eating and logged another gain slightly more than the other three. I do know there can be a lag between eating poorly and gaining weight and the reverse of eating well and not losing weight right away.

My plan this week is to do another 'normal' week and hope to be rewarded. If I am not, I will have to adjust my plan and scrutinize my eating to be sure small this and thats are not creeping in.

This week is about completing the basement windows. They look amazing and all the window well stuff is done. I have ordered supplies for the next construction phase in the basement. What is left is the pretty cosmetic stuff so it will be lots of fun to have that done. Digging up concrete to put weeping tile in and adding windows is not quite as gratifying. But they make for 'good bones' and so are essential. The guys will start on the next phase in the first week of November.
84.5 kg Lost so far: 37.3 kg.    Still to go: 7.3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

You have your plan in place and are fine! Does the weather getting colder ever impact your weight? Seems like the body could be more reluctant to reduce at the moment! 😁 You will have to post some pictures when your basement is fianlly how you want it. The finish is the most wondeful. Then... Do you need to haul all the books back down! 😁

Thank you Melissatwa! The weather doesn't usually impact me in a noticeable way. I think I am going to have to plan to be outside a bit more as moving around is better than working on the computer or other sedentary jobs. I will love to post pictures when it is done. I only hauled up the books that are destined for a book sale post-CIVID but left the boxes of books I want downstairs. I have everything stacked in one quarter of the basement. The idea is to finish one half and then I can put most of the pile into that half where it is in fact destined to 'live' and then pile the rest in one place for after the other half is completed. I didn't want to do the up and downstairs thing! This Friday I go to get the tile order- 5 hour round trip! Exciting as starting is literally around the corner.
