It really was 'Poorly' adhered-to this week, but I'm still quite proud of myself, because severe damage limitation was exercised. I did actually record everything while I was away, I swam for nearly an hour every day bar one when the pool was shut and I didn't fancy the sea, I walked miles over the week - it's 3 miles each way to Herne Bay from the caravan site and I did that twice - I did have some chips, I did have the odd ice-cream, I did have plenty of wine, (I also had salad and seafood), I didn't feel deprived and actually more damage was done this weekend coming back! I'm utterly skint and the only meat I had in the house for Sunday was a pack of short ribs of which I had no idea of the calories when I bought them at about 10% of their actual price. So I turned them into a stew, decided to eat the lot and start again properly today.

I expected to have put on about 4 lbs - and did - but I've managed to do a Saintly Day today and walk about 7 miles and my head's right back into dieting mode. I've booked for next year, when all being well I'll be at target weight and trying to stay there - and I have promised myself a bag of hot doughnuts: I simply couldn't justify the calories this year, but I'm determined to have some next year... lol...
