Hey FSF! So this past week marked the beginning of this semester in nursing school. I can sum it up in one word: STRESS. I gained a couple pounds, even though I stayed within my IF window and my macros the whole time. I started freaking out, like oh no my diet stopped working, I need to change something.
But then I thought it through with the info I am learning in school. Stress raises blood glucose, even without food. Stress increases water retention and slows digestion. Stress causes trouble sleeping, which can slow metabolism. So, I have decided not to change anything. Let my body get used to this stress and figure out ways to reduce it (long walks, more family time, reading, etc.).
I have faith in my WOE. I did not choose it at random. I did the research and know this is for me. So now I have to take my knowledge and use it to push down my panic when the scale is moving the wrong way.
Thank you all for your support and the encouragement I get from seeing your progress towards health.
