I got a taste of what intermittent fasting might be today. I wasn't able to eat or have coffee (since I don't do black coffee) til I got home from my 2:30 PM Doctor's Appt. First meal of the day at 4PM. Not horrible but I won't make a habit of it.

Since I had prepared my bowl of fresh fruit when I made Hubby's this morning I decided to toast my bagel & have Breakfast.

I won't know my lab results for a few days, but I don't anticipate they should be anything but good. It was funny that my weigh in was actually slightly lower at the Dr.'s office than at home since I hadn't eaten. I was fully clothed, but I wore a lightweight dress & light jewelry for the occasion 😉🙄

My daughter in law texted me a photo of my Granddaughter on the treadmill earlier today. She said they had both joined a gym & were starting to eat healthier on Mon. My Granddaughter will be 14 in Nov. Daughter in law has always struggled with her weight. She had gastric bypass about 16 years ago & lost a bunch of weight but eventually regained some of it. My Granddaughter has been chunky for the last few years. DIL said my recent food postings & a post about my weight loss on FB had inspired them. Of course I had to tell her about FS. Don't know if she'll use it. She's always been about eating "organic" & "healthy" foods. But, you can eat too much to maintain a healthy weight even if you are eating so called " healthy" foods. I do wish them luck....especially my Granddaughter.

Pork chops & red cabbage....and maybe baby carrots for dinner.

Almost time for our afternoon walk. It's warm but pleasant out.

I just heard a deer make that cautionary hissing noise they make behind me. I turned & she was standing just a few feet away from my chair where I'm sitting. She didn't hang around for long after I saw her.
64.1 kg Lost so far: 14.2 kg.    Still to go: 2.9 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
