So September 1st....Wow! Today I hit the 6 month mark of being in Maintenance!! I looked back on Aug. to analyze. I started out @ 142.8 on the 1st & today I'm down @ 141.2. My high for the month was 144 & low was 140.4. I don't know that the weight flucuations mean much because my measurements have remained the same. 3 weeks out of 4, I ate under my 1800 calorie RDI. That one week I averaged right at 1800. Other than being conscious of what I'm eating & trying to make good choices, I eat what I want.

I never was a binge eater unless you count grazing thru the pantry & fridge out of boredom...or a desire to find that perfect snack & not knowing what it was. I was more apt to just over endulge on meals & drink. I remember when I was younger, going to eat at a favorite seafood resteraunt in Florida & ordering the Seafood Platter with ALL the choices, cause I couldn't make up my mind. As I got older & my body decided it wasn't going to metabolize all that food, I started getting heavier. For the past 15 years my weight has flucuated up & down depending on whether I was paying attention or not. I'm planning on paying attention from here on out 😊

Today, I am officially on Medicare....Wow! My birthday isn't til the end of the month, but that's how Medicare works. I have an appt. tomorrow for a Checkup at my Doctor's. They had originally scheduled my labs for earlier in the week but I decided to wait til after Sept.1st to have them done. If I changed my doctor appt., I would have had to wait til next year so now they're doing my labs during my appt.....at 2:30 PM. That means I can't eat til after 🙁 Oops! Didn't plan that too well.

I'm defrosting boneless, skinless chicken thighs for dinner. I bought some fresh green beans yesterday so I think they're on the menu....not sure what else....maybe a tomato cucumber salad.
64.0 kg Lost so far: 14.3 kg.    Still to go: 2.8 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
