I've had a great weekend 😊 Starting with Friday...we went to take a look at the kennel we plan to use when Hubby & I go to Wisconsin. It has changed hands since we used them last, so we needed to be sure we were comfortable leaving our babies there. Afterwards we stopped at our favorite Pub for the first time since March. We enjoyed a beer & shared a quesadilla on their back deck. They are only serving on their covered porch, deck & patio to insure better safety.
Yesterday, we went to a favorite winery to hear music from a duo we enjoy. It was somewhat busy so we set up folding chairs out under the trees. We could still see & hear and the weather was nice. We ran into our Niece & Nephew so were able to visit with them. That was nice as I haven't seen her since Christmas. The crowd cleared out & we were able to snag a couple of chairs close to the stage for the last 30 minutes of their performance. I'd planned something for dinner but we decided to pick up Wings & fries (Saturday Special) to bring home & I made a salad to go with them.
It was the closest to " normal" we've seen in forever.

Today was a quiet day at home. I talked to my daughter on the phone. She booked tickets for herself & my Granddaughter to join the us for our Girl's trip in September to Savannah /Tybee Island. Hubby & I had a late afternoon cold drink on the patio then we went on our walk.

Dinner is cooking....Salmon, asparagus & baked beans.
64.6 kg Lost so far: 13.8 kg.    Still to go: 3.4 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

DP, so needed & appreciated! When we drove up to the Winery on Sat. Hubby saw all the cars there & he was ready to turn around. I convinced him to at least take a look. There are 2 buildings, so not all the people were at the music venue. Like I said, we sat outside the "barn". Three sides are open so we could see straight into the stage area. We shared a bottle of wine & had such a great afternoon. I'm to the point I don't want to just sit at home & assume we can't be out. Where there's a will there's a way 😊
