Worked outside today....gave everything a good watering & pulled up some wayward growth....strawberry vines & painted fern mostly. Just got back from our afternoon walk.

I only had a light snack....popcorn & Cran-Pineapple juice this afternoon. I've been craving Wings from Johnny B's so that's dinner tonight. Hubby & I will share an order of fries & I'm making a salad at home. The salad will provide our veggies & fill me up enough I don't get tempted to go overboard with the wings 😊

I had commented yesterday on Lonnie's journal about eating fast food. I used to eat a fair amount of fast food. I worked Retail Mgt. so it was quick & easy for mealtimes that were often only 30 minutes. I had little knowledge of how many calories were in the meals I ate back then. These days I seldom eat fast food....preferring to eat at restaurants I feel use fresh ingredients & can make choices that I feel are better for me. I have history that has influenced my choices as I've gained more knowledge about nutrition. I lost my Dad at age 48. He had a heart attack around 40...heart bypass surgery a few years later. He was undergoing a 2nd bypass surgery when he died. He had a love of pastries & other foods he found hard to resist...even knowing he shouldn't be eating them. He had developed diabetes as well. I have a sister, 8 years younger, that has suffered for many years with ailments I'm convinced could be lessened if she ate a different diet. Anyway....I try to eat healthier & advocate the same. I don't not eat some things, but I do try to make them occasional treats & try to do better the biggest percentage of the time.
64.5 kg Lost so far: 13.9 kg.    Still to go: 3.3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
