CharleeSue's Journal, 29 May 13

Life is settling down a bit. Of course, I hate to put that in writing. The old Norwegian in me is looking over my shoulder. But all in all things are good. I am continuing to lose weight in a healthy way. I am not really so 'into' my weight loss process. Instead I am just letting it happen. I have been busier now that the weather is better. It is still cloudy and a bit on the cool side but I was able to get out and do a lot of planting and trans-planting. I just came in from feeding my flowers. The sky is becoming very dark and the rumbles are almost belly-jiggling. Just now the noise of a huge down-pour got my attention.

We continue to search for Mandy. No clues. No progress except that we know the areas that have been thoroughly covered and can be crossed off our list. I am currently involved in a fundraiser that will take place on June 3rd. Hopefully to raise additional funds and awareness to continue the search. Keep us in your prayers.

I honestly believe that eating every two to three hours is the answer to staving off the binging type of hunger. I have been very intentional about eating a healthy snack every two hours. Low carb, low calorie and low sugar. I feel so much better. Already, just one month after cutting out the carbs, I have a loss of 1 1/2 inches from my waist. Belly fat is the first to go when you cut carbs. Yay!

Hoping you all are healthy. Hug your loved ones.

Yes slow and steady weight loss is the best and glad that you are finding low carb works for you, it's the only thing that works for me. I too notice that my belly fat goes quicker when I do low carb. and I also find that when I do low carb the right way I don't have the same carb monster lurking about. Glad things are stable in your world, knock on wood. (and thanks for visiting my journal :)
