Shereen Donede's Journal, 20 May 20

I've started taking B12 again because in the last two weeks I've been feeling fatigued and noticing the signs of low B12. about two years ago it was so low the doctor wasn't sure how I was able to drive a car (literally started nodding off at the wheel which is what got me getting checked)... so even though I'm up today on the scale and even though I know I'm doing the right things Ito fasting and calorie intake - my body is busy sorting out other important stuff at the moment. Once the B12 levels are back up I think things will start moving again. B12 is so important. I never realised it until I got tested. but it affects everything and the signs of low b12 are so easy to brush off because they don't seem like a big deal separately... but if you list them together - you'll notice quickly how serious it actually is. if you get pins and needles in your hands and feet, if your nails and skin feel different, if you get a bit mixed up with words or find yourself needing a list to remember minor details and just feel like your battery is flat .. it's worth checking, don't brush it off. it's also super simple to resolve. Nuerobian tablets over the counter or Solgar dissolvable tablets from most health stores. Especially if your not a huge red meat or oily fish eater.

Vitamin B12 deficiency is no joke. Your brain deteriorates without it, not to mention everything else that happens. Health comes first. And a few grams up are totally worth it.

Exactly! Mental health/Physical Health are way more important to me now than losing weight... Which has taken time for me to accept.

I also have a B12 deficiency and due to lockdown there hasn't been any vials available for the injection. My deficiency is really bad but thankfully I'm now on the neurobian which is b complex but at least I'm getting my shot. My body can't absorb B12, hence why I'm STILL deficient even after changing my diet 2 years ago

Also, I've found that the Neurobian tablets aren't that great (for me) but there's a brand called Sol at Clicks that makes a specific B12 tablet that you dissolve under the tongue and it tastes like strawberry. None of that horrible chalky nastiness like that Natura brand 😂

Yes Darth. When things get really bad the only thing that works is a regular course of injections. I'm currently using the Solgar B12. They are much cheaper than nuerobian tablets and because they don't have the glossy outside coating, the get into your blood stream a lot quicker.
