Last month, I recorded my monthly numbers and hoped for a vacation / honeymoon with my new hubby and hoped for the ability to relax. Wow, well quarantine life did that in a twisted way!

I am working from home as a public sector worker, and I relaxed as there is no need to do my makeup and hair in the morning. Not having to rush out of the house to beat the morning traffic is also a huge plus. And, my hubby and I are having a Quarantine Honeymoon. Lol. It's surely not what I envisioned - ever - but we are so in love and spend a lot of good times together. Sometimes we put on our masks and go out for a mental health walk/jog, observing social distancing of course.

My city closed down about 2 1/2 weeks ago, and we have been on a stay at home order. In the beginning, I ate a lot of snacks everyday. I'm talking brownies, chips, ice cream, chocolate, cookies... you name it. I got to a point where I felt so big, like my tummy was popping out to the sides even. And then, I started to workout consistently and fast longer. Sometimes, I fast until 6pm or 7pm, and then I have a 4ish hour eating window. It's really helped to balance out the overeating I was doing. And I'm mostly eating at home, so that is somewhat healthier.

I relatively feel good in this black mirrors reality. Sometimes I feel the cabin fever coming in, and then I remember that we are saving lives by staying at home. And the exercise is helping with that too, I feel. It's a challenging time. I won't go too much into the pandemic in my area, since it's pretty bad, but I just want to say that I send PRAYERS TO EVERYONE who has lost or will lose a loved one, co-worker, neighbor, etc. It's about to get even tougher, so we gotta hang in there.

So, my monthly numbers:

Last month:
March 2020
Weight 145 lbs
Body Fat 36%

This month:
April 2020
Weight 146 lbs
Body Fat 38%

That is pretty much what I expected. I went up a pound, and I grew an inch in my waist. Yup, that's where I feel it! It's all those snacks, and having to stay at home. But like I said before I measured, I know that staying home will save lives. Of course, I still get an emotional reaction to the scale, but I am learning to control it.
