As expected most of the water weight came off. I did eat just over 1500 calories yesterday.

Hubby & I were able to get a couple of piles of branches chipped yesterday. He also started a pile of logs to redo the paths around our yard. Several years ago we naturalized part of our yard with a path with plantings along it. Every so often it needs to be refreshed with new borders and we put mulch on the path. We use the mulch created by chipping up the branches instead of store bought mulch when we can.

Today started out rainy & cooler but the sun did come thru for a bit. I think we'll have more rain today though.

I was awake in the night with thoughts tumbling thru my head. The news that the quarantine is being extended thru April is disheartening. Not a huge surprise....but still. Our total confirmed cases doubled today to 8. Not a huge amount but 2 of the counties within 30 minutes of us are much higher. The one just south of us where we often go to shop has 10. They also just doubled. We only have Walmart to shop for groceries where we live. We would usually go there for Kroger....they also have Publix. Costco is in one of the counties further south with higher cases. I'm feeling like we should stick pretty close to home at this point. I have family all over the metropolitan Atlanta area.

On a good note my sister texted she had just seen her first hummingbird of the year....not 30 minutes later I saw my first one, too 😊
