I cut out sugar and most flour foods or refined starch packaged foods (“particle”) at all. I rarely eat any animal foods except fish. For two months I recorded most of my food to see how to limit myself to about 50 grams of protein a day, aiming for under 13% protein and about 30% plant fat. Since I wasn’t eating particle foods, it was almost hard to get enough calories without going over my protein limit. I am getting more convinced of the health benefits and that I really want them, so it is relatively easy.
