Under goal again today 😊

Ate just over 1600 calories yesterday. Seems to be working for maintenance. If I reset my RDI I think I'm supposed to be able to eat around 2000 & maintain. Not trusting that #

I prepped a corned beef in the crockpot with onions, carrots & baby potatoes....adding cabbage later...for dinner. Hubby & I are staying in. We usually go to our favorite Pub but we're staying away from crowds.

My daughter, in the Dallas area, had her followup scan to determine if her Cancer treatments were successful today. She won't know the results til next week. Her immune system is compromised from the treatments so I'm praying she stays healthy. She works in the mortgage dept. of a bank. Still going into work but they did requisition a work computer for her in case she has to start working from home. My Granddaughter is a Senior in HS. She is stressing out over the possibility that Prom & Graduation Ceremonies will be cancelled. Her part time job at a gym (daycare) she recently started has been suspended due to the gym closing. I've been planning to fly out to Dallas the end of May for her Graduation but I'm playing it by ear right now.

So much uncertainty right now. We have a friend that in spite of having some health issues & being in his 70's is planning to go to the Pub today. I doubt it will be as busy as usual but I'm sure there will be crowds. And people from outside our community 😐 Some are in denial that this virus can spread & affect us personally.

Have a movie we rented (Jo Jo Rabbit) to watch this afternoon and the DVR'D episode of The Voice from last night.

The birds are calling to each other outside our windows. The Wrens are getting ready to build nests & have babies 😊🐦 Life goes on.....
