I got my bowl of Sopa de Pollo yesterday 😋 and I had some chips & salsa. I had thought I'd order a lower cal beer instead of wine but since Jen only had water I stuck with water, too. It was such a beautiful day, we decided to have a walk around the square after lunch. We popped into a couple of shops, including a candy store. Even though I love the truffles from this shop, I wasn't even tempted. Jen on the other hand kept talking about wanting some candy or maybe ice cream, but not "needing" it. She's a good 20 lbs. lighter than me & is very fit. I said if she really wanted it she could have some but she said she wouldn't stay thin if she indulged every day. True....We've gotta do what works for us.

Hubby, dogs & I got in an afternoon walk. Good thing cause it's raining today.

We shared the order of Cheese Ziti from Olive Garden for dinner plus a salad. Hubby commented "Is this pasta supposed to be one meal?" It is....all 1000 plus calories of it. As good as it tasted the whole thing would have been too much food for me.

Hubby really likes black licorice. He offered me a piece after dinner (out of his handful). After I ate it I told him to not offer me any again...it makes me want more. Something about the chewiness & texture. That's my downfall 😐
