😱🙁I was not expecting a weight gain today but here it is. Why? My food intake yesterday was OMAD CURRIED BROCCOLI AND CHICKEN casserole with white wine &soda water. It was a delicious dinner, afterwards cheese &pickles followed by a 1/4 cup of Krisda semi sweet, sugar free chocolate chips. End result an increase of almost 5lbs!!
I read today in Gin’s book Delay, Don’t Deny the misconception about sweetness. Anything, even artificial sweeteners, cause a spike of insulin. My challenge this coming week is to forgo any Krisda chocolate chips and any sweetener products (such as in flavored tea leaves)- fast clean and continue OMAD. I on hold about the decaffeinated expresso.
73.6 kg Lost so far: 11.7 kg.    Still to go: 14.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Darn and darn, Aurora. It is so unfair when the weight spikes like that for what seems to be no good reason. Good luck this week on avoiding the sweetener products -- that can be really hard to do.

One consolation: You can't gain 4.6 pounds of *fat* overnight! Just relax and know that you're doing the best you can do.

well depending on the curry... many curries contain quite a bit of sodium. on top of this ...many people boost quite a bit with broccoli. I wouldn't worry about one day and one meal. it's likely your body is just taking a bit longer to process the salts and perhaps you are holding on to more water than usual. drink some extra water and keep your chin up 😁
