Ever since I started losing weight, chopping up chicken and removing the fat makes me extremely ill. I get hot, then shaky, then I feel as if I’m going to vomit or pass out. What could be going on? Do I just find it gross now?

Maybe don’t eat chicken for now. You can always get back to it

I can eat it just fine. It’s only the chopping up. I made chicken legs last night that I spiced up but didn’t have to touch and I was totally fine. It’s just weird because I’ve always been ok to chop up chicken lol

So it's the smell of the raw flesh that bothers you rather than cooked meat. I buy thighs or minced meat and just dump the stuff into foil or a pot with a lid and get the packaging into the garbage and out of the house asap. Sucking on a candy during the process might quell the nausea. When I was pregnant (40 years ago) the smell of roasting meat always made me feel ill. Hormonal change maybe?

wOw,finally found another person who has a hard time with chicken. I can't for the life of me pull/take off the skin on a chicken...I wash my hands with javel,10% vinegar to remove the smell. Ibuy my chicken thighs with skin removed. I have no problem with Turkey but I do with Duck.
