Well, my weight will miss my Christmas Challenge by a half a pound this week, so I'll need to drop 2 by the end of next Sunday. It still amazes me how hard it is to drop a measly 1.5 - 2 pounds. It was a glorious morning with clear blue skies , temps in the low 70's, and a nice steady breeze with low humidity. The forecasters all say enjoy today and part of tomorrow because then we go back to normal (hot and humid). So DH and I took the dogs and we all went for a 3-mile walk this AM. Doggies are pretty snoozy right now, so that's good. I was coming in here to log on when my sandal caught the edge of a carpet runner and I went splat! I hate it when that happens! I've fallen about 2x in the last year and that's 2x more than I've fallen in the last 30 years - I hope this isn't a sign of old age.

I hope you didn't hurt anything! Things happen in 3's, I've heard, so be careful! I've fallen 2X this summer for no good reason. Did some damage but recovered. My ego was very bruised when I had to explain the scrapes and bruises I got from my tumbling. It can't be old age! or there's no end to it!

Thanks. My ego would have been bruised, but only my doggies saw me do it. I was carrying my water bottle and a checkbook, so the water slowly flowed out while I was lying on the floor waiting for the initial pain to subside. Of course, it flowed out and began to soak the back of my shorts! That was truly adding insult to injury. Except for an achey side of my left hand (can't make a fist now) and the carpet burn on 1 knee, I'm otherwise none the worse for it. Hope you've gotten over your own damage!

Wow that has happened to me so many times. I nearly fell at church a few weeks back when the toe of my sndal caught on the carpet!! Good golly, lolly, I hope it's not old age, because that means it will only get worse! OY!!
