JayRo I am tapered to 5mg and sometimes I have to zig zag and go back up to 7.5 and then down to 5 again. Today Im changing it up to 5mg and then tomorrow 2.5mg and so forth. Eventually 2.5 for a week and then off. What I wondered if you experience muscle twitching as you taper off prednisone? Suddenly I have them and it freaks me out. My doctor ordered and MRI and I had one Saturday. I think it could be the prednisone tapering though. I am HOPING that is what it is. He actually had me go off of it completely and I tried it for 4 days. I had to go back to the dose I was on and continue tapering. I was so sick to my stomach and felt just odd. Of course the second I took some I was carb craving. I just want to find someone else who has the muscle issues after tapering prednisone so I dont feel freaky!

GoDiet333, I don’t have that but I get hand tremors and a kind of buzzy feeling in my head. I have thyroid involvement so it’s hard for me to know what’s what. I’ve got a good 6-8 weeks before I’m off totally. But I’m definitely less fuzzy headed as the doses decrease!!!
