I stepped on the scale and it said164.4. I stepped off it in disbelief ( I didn’t expect to lose- I stepped back on it 166.6... I don’t really like that number so I stepped on and off again 166.8. If I averaged them all together I would get 166.6. So I stepped on it again and it was back to 164.4. So I’m going with that today!

Isn't that just crazy? The loss is always wonderful however the scale swinging 2 pounds from moment to moment is tough. I now have my scale in one set spot on my floor so that I go with that weight. In the past, I would wait until the scale said the same weight 3 times before I 'took' it! That sometimes entailed weighing myself 5-6 times.

Up until 40 days ago, scales drove me crazy with bouncing weights. I've had midrange and expensive scales and they all bounced. 40 days ago, I had to buy a new scale and I bought a $35 dollar scale on Amazon, the brand is RENPHO it has wireless connectivity to your cell phone and a fairly decent app and it synch's with google fit and apple's fitness program. Long story short. I took it for the test drive and got repeatable readings right from first use which really impressed me. Later reading the little booklet that comes with the scale, the manufacturer even stated the calibration error rates. i.e. if your 200 lbs the scale will read within 0.6 pounds of a test weight. This scale is the least expensive scale I have ever purchased, and yet it has out performed all previous scales. It also has the bio-impedance measurements for 12 or 13 test items.

Hi Patrick in Ottawa, your scale sounds very interesting. You say it connects to your iphone— does your phone automatically record your numbers?

Hi Aurora2019 Yes, it connects to android or apple phones and on the scale you only see the weight. If you weigh yourself with the app running, it connects with the scale and records all the measurements which is stored on your phone. Then you can review all the measurements and see the historical measurements, whenever you wish. BTW: The weight capacity is 396 pounds. Old scales you used to step on or tap to get the scale to turn on. This one you just step on and it starts and takes the measurement automatically. It was $37 CDN less $4 coupon.
