Seeing my friends is tough because it always derails my weight loss goals... Birthdays, parties, special occasions--they often involve sit down meals where there is pressure to eat. Even when I am trying to be conscious and eat the minimum amount possible (with slow bites and plenty of water), I still end up consuming 1000+ calories and gaining weight on the scale the next day. How do you all manage your social obligations without gaining weight??
54.5 kg Lost so far: 2.4 kg.    Still to go: 4.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Oh, I hear you there. I do so much better eating at home then out. It's so hard. I try to look at my week ahead and adjust the other days to help counteract THAT high day (or days). I have taken a little break from calorie counting lately but when I was counting I would try to add up the weekly total and stay within that range. This way if I had a bad day I could try to eat less the other days. I wasn't always successful but doing this allowed me to have high days and low days and still meet my weekly total (which was about 8000 calories). Calorie cycling. :) Take a peek at some online info on it, lots of different ways to do it as well.

That's a great point. I will try to do that!! The only porblem is that I'm so hungry the other days, my will power only goes so far 😂
