Unplugged for almost a full week was annoying because using F.S. computerized journals is easier and enjoyable. My weight went up this morning and I suspect it was the 11PM meal at Denny's. Lot's of walking at the California State Fair yesterday and the tips of my toes have tiny blisters underneath the skin, ouchy. I was able to easily avoid partaking in Fair food as I had a nice healthy meal that kept me satisfied throughout the day. I Did enjoy a Hawaiian Shaved ice during the hot part of the day. The Sacramento weather has been gorgeous! Living in the Sacramento area almost all of my life I don't quite remember a summertime as the one we are having this year. It has been pure heaven as the High's for the most part have not been higher then 90 and the nights cool down to 50's and 60's. I was able to catch the last 2 songs Foghat played live last night and captured some youthful energy as I happily danced to the rhythm under a beautiful shade tree under the moon as they played their song "Slow Ride". 10PM we walked to our car as they lit off some awesome fireworks.

Federal Express delivered my new Dell computer this morning and I am up and running again, Hooray! My savings account is in need of replenishing but I was glad to have the money to buy this new unit as it only set me back a few hundred dollars. Soon I will catch up with my F.S. buddies and see how everyone has been doing. Hoping everybody is savoring these summer daze by getting out, enjoying the company of others and taking it all in, which is a slowride in itself if we remember not to take these days for granted. Towanda!!
