I am ashamed to say that I do well a couple of days then I do poorly so my weight is just yo yoing up a lb or two then down a lb or 2. I am going to stick with it better because I am so ashamed of my self the sad thing about it is that I get plenty of points to satisfy myself. But I have been eatting poor food choices. I will do better any encouragment will be greatly appreciated. If you can say a prayer for me please do I NEED IT! I have 130 lbs to go! SHHHEEEESH that is a whole adult person. Can you imagine having that much weight to lose? It is so discouraging!However I can't feel sorry for myself I have created this monster and I have to fix the problem. I also just have to take it 5 lbs at a time or 10 lbs at a time one meal at a time one minute at a time. I am going to accomplish this goal I am going to get back into shape and I am going to do it for myself! I refuse to let food rule my life and activity anymore. If I can just keep reminding myself that I can do it!

Don't beat yourself up over it! You can do this! You might want to change your goal to every 10 or 15 pounds, that way it is always in site! And don't forget to use the support this site provides. It's awesome! If you need a buddy, I'm here for you!

Thank You so much for adding me as a buddy. Thank You for your advice and encouragment. I know I can do it. If I want it bad enough. You are doing awesome! What is the biggest change that you have made to your daily life that has amde the difference for you? If you don't mind me asking....

The biggest change I've made is actually SLOWING DOWN when I eat. I watched that show "I can make you thin" and I've been trying to encorporate some of the principles. Especially the one where you take a bite, put your fork down between bites, and actually ENJOY your food. I've noticed that since I've started doing that, I eat smaller portions!

You sound as if you are losing your motivation a little. I agree that it helps to set mini goals. It can be so overwhelming trying to lose so much. If you think, I need to lose 10lbs, then it seems like something you can do. That's what I try to do. Right now my goal is to get under 250lbs. It really makes it seem attainable and realistic. And to answer the question on your profile - YES - I have been honest about my weight. I figured that's the only way for me to get real about it! You're going to do great. Just rethink your expectations.
