Damn today was a crap day for calories too. I've been slipping. I don't know why. I think a lot of it is just snacking on foods while we are fishing... we try to bring healthy snacks, but what's easier to eat when you have dirty, fishy hands - a piece of celery, or a packaged granola-bar? Exactly.

So it sucks. I've been feeling really shitty about my diet lately. I just feel like it's "over" and it's no longer going to work... I've been stuck at this weight for like at least a week, and it's not going anywhere. I can't fight this fight anymore right now if it's not going to do anything. I know it's hard to say what's happening right now, because it's my TOM, but I can't just blame it on that. I might start cutting my calories back again. I don't know.

Push on...don't give up. For me what worked was I was drinking 8 glasses of water so I increased them to 10 sometimes 12 depending how thirsty I am and the weight come off. You might be retaining water, you could be eating to much sodium. Try decreasing your sodium to 1500 no more then 2000 and increasing your water. Your suppose to drink half your weight in water.Or try decreasing your cals to 1200 for a day or two then back to normal. Whatever you do don't give up! Feel better. Hugs. Felits

It's a plateau. A real one. But seriously, stick to what you're doing - varying your calorie amounts and varying your exercise routine. It really WILL work. Take it from the queen of plateau's and be as stubborn as hell and tell yourself you will win. All I'm saying is this - you've come way too far to give up. You don't have to go all out every single day. You have youth on your side. Just don't give up and start eating random crap. And I think you may be seriously underestimating the effect of periods. Stick to what you're doing for a few more days and more than likely, you'll drop a pound or two. Besides...you give up and I lose a friend! And I'm not gonna stand by and watch that happen! : ) Hugs to you.
