I kinda back off a little as I’m having issues with BP and heart palpitations and LDL cholesterol going up😳 just worried I might be doin more damage. But still losing weight 😀
73.1 kg Lost so far: 8.5 kg.    Still to go: 2.8 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Losing 1.1 kg a Week

Are you Keto? LDL does go up while fat burning in Keto. Plus I read something on the wheat belly web site about LDL calculations are for carb loaded diets not Keto because they are not measured but calculated and that calculator is meaningless when applied to a Keto diet. LDL goes down in maintenance phase of Keto. Or supposed to. While burning body fat for fuel it can be the LDL from storage being reverse transported to liver hence higher level in blood stream? I am no doc and only beginning to research this stuff as mine is “up” according to doc and doc wants statins hmm NO.

Thanks for the great info A6evergreen . I think you’re on the right track. Keep studying. It’s so fascinating! Yes I’ve been strict keto 4 months. Lost 20 lbs. feeling fabulous ( except last week had issues with electrolytes out of whack due to food-borne illness. ) all good now.
