Wow great drops. I would love to loose a pound or 2 at a time. I’m happy to squeeze out .2-.4 a day. You’re lucky and doing so well.

It's important to keep regular, Dzemsta. Just sayin'. *lol*

What helps - consistency, being ok with the ups & downs, not being too strict and overdoing things so that it isn't something I can keep up, and mixing things up a bit with new workouts and diets. Recently (last 10 months) has been weight training.

I also started several years ago - so it has been a slow process, which I am ok with - I am going in the right direction.

I weigh myself once a month at the doctors office cause otherwise I would obsess about the numbers lol I do walk an hour a day and more on the weekend. My diet is not restrictive I just eat better and less. I do want to start doing weight training but I feel ackward at the gym and people there make it worse because they’re not friendly, they’re a bunch of snobs lol . I do want to try and find a routine that’s easy to maintain

I get it, nikkiferrera, but you are succeeding. I tend to obsess but manage to keep weighing myself down to twice a week. I don't want to be owned by a hunk of glass and a truly unreliable sensor. I'm doing the right stuff, too, even when it's uncomfortable cuz it's worth it and I know it will get easier. I bought a couple dumbbells. That'll do for now.

I do all of my workouts at home with body weight, free weights, and cables. I started just with 5/10/15 lb dumbbells and have increased the weight when ever I needed to be more challenge - this also helped so I didn't have to buy them all at once. Squats/lunges/deadlifts are good because they use more of your muscles. For my weight, I average by month to see the trend - I used to only weigh in once in awhile when I didn't own a scale, but now I do so I like to do it in the morning. It's intimidating working out with other people, but if you started at home I think you would be more comfortable with going to the gym.
